Product description

Physical and chemical properties

A 50% solution of potassium tripolyphosphate (KTPP) is a colorless and transparent liquid with a relative density of 1.55 - 1.6 g/cm³. It can form chelates with alkaline metal ions or heavy metal ions.

Applications:

The 50% potassium tripolyphosphate (KTPP) solution is mainly used in metal surface treatment, macroelement water-soluble fertilizers, and leverages its high complexing capacity for metal ions. Pyrophosphate can form stable complexes with calcium and magnesium ions in water, which enables it to soften hard water, enhance detergency, remove dirt, and form a protective layer on metal surfaces to improve corrosion resistance. It is widely applied in the industries of industrial component cleaning and metal pre-treatment. The 50% potassium tripolyphosphate solution is clear without impurities or precipitates, featuring excellent stability and no hydrolysis within two years. It meets world-class standards.
