Applications：

Sodium pyrophosphate is a mild alkaline chelating agent with significant emulsifying and dispersing capabilities, and it is widely used in the food industry. Examples are as follows: 1. As a component of compound phosphate, it is used in the processing of meat products such as sausages and hamburgers. 2. As a component of compound emulsifiers, it is used in the production of processed cheese. 3. It is used in solutions for soaking aquatic products to control the yield and improve the texture. 4. In dairy products and other foods, it serves as a common buffering agent, chelating agent and stabilizer. 5. In the field of meat product processing, it can inhibit the growth of microorganisms and extend the shelf life to 12 days (when refrigerated at 4℃). 6. In the baking industry, it can increase the water absorption of dough, making the dough volume increase by 8% - 12%.      In terms of environmental protection and water treatment: It can be used for boiler anti-scaling, keeping the heat exchange efficiency above 98%; and for heavy metal wastewater treatment, enabling the lead ion removal rate to reach 99.8%.

Transportation conditions: It is strictly prohibited to mix and transport with oxidants, acids, edible chemicals, etc. During transportation, exposure to sunlight, rain, and high temperatures should be prevented. The vehicle should be cleaned after transportation. For road transportation, it shall follow the specified route. Air transportation: Sodium pyrophosphate can be handled under ordinary cargo conditions.

Storage conditions: It should be stored in a cool and dry place. Attention should be paid to protecting it from sunlight, moisture and package damage. It is recommended to stack it on shelves or single-layer pallets.

Shelf life: Under the above storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
