Product description

Physical and chemical properties:

White crystals (White crystals), white powder or colorless crystals, easily soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol and acetone, and very slightly soluble in potassium hydroxide.

Applications:

Potassium stannate is mainly used in potassium stannate tin plating (especially in tin plating for electronics, automobile manufacturing, canned food boxes, etc.) and the fabric printing and dyeing industry, as well as in glass, ceramics and other industries. In alkaline tin plating solutions, potassium stannate can produce higher cathode efficiency and conductivity than other tin salts, improving surface brightness, adhesion and corrosion resistance. It can also be used as a mordant, etc.       As an upgraded fine chemical product in the electroplating industry, potassium stannate is mainly used for replacing silver with tin and replacing nickel plating with tin-copper alloy plating. Potassium stannate can not only reduce production costs, but also, as potassium salt replaces sodium salt, it can generate higher cathode efficiency and conductivity, and improve the surface brightness, adhesion and corrosion resistance of plated parts. For example, it is used in electroplating for automobile manufacturing, electronics industry, canned food boxes, RMB, etc.       Potassium stannate can also be used as a mordant in the printing and dyeing industry and a weighting agent in the textile industry, etc. In addition, it has extensive applications in the glass and ceramic industry and high-grade decorative materials.
