Product description

Properties:

EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphonate and belongs to cathodic corrosion inhibitors. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, its corrosion inhibition rate is 3-5 times higher. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and non-polluting, and has excellent chemical stability and temperature resistance. Even at 200℃, it still maintains a good scale inhibition effect.

In aqueous solution, it can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions, so it can chelate with multiple metal ions to form macromolecular reticular complexes with multiple monomer structures. These complexes are loosely dispersed in water, thereby disrupting the normal crystallization of calcium scale. Additionally, this product exhibits good scale inhibition effects on calcium sulfate scale and barium sulfate scale.

Applications:

EDTMPS is used as a corrosion and scale inhibitor in circulating water and boiler water, a complexing agent in cyanide-free electroplating, and a chelating agent and oxygen bleaching stabilizer in the textile printing and dyeing industry.
