Properties:
White powder, slightly soluble in water, with a solubility in water of less than 5% at room temperature. It can form water-soluble salts with strong bases and has strong hydrolysis resistance.
Applications:
HDTMPA can inhibit the formation of various types of scale (such as calcium carbonate scale, calcium sulfate scale, barium sulfate scale, and iron oxide scale, etc.), but in water treatment, it is mainly used to inhibit calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scales. Among various organic phosphonic acids, it has the best performance in inhibiting calcium sulfate scale, featuring not only a high scale inhibition rate but also a long effective duration, thus being particularly suitable for squeeze treatment in oil fields. HDTMPA can also be used in boiler water treatment.v

Transportation conditions: It is strictly prohibited to mix and transport with oxidants, acids, edible chemicals, etc. During transportation, exposure to sunlight, rain, and high temperatures should be prevented. The vehicle should be cleaned after transportation. For road transportation, it shall follow the specified route. Air transportation: Potassium pyrophosphate can be handled under ordinary cargo conditions.
Storage conditions: It should be stored in a cool and dry place. Attention should be paid to protecting it from sunlight, moisture and package damage. It is recommended to stack it on shelves or single-layer pallets.
Shelf life: Under the above storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is 10 months.
